The Dutch government hasn't yet banned gas and diesel-powered cars, however, and the motion does allow for hybrid cars to be sold beyond 2025. CHECK OUT: EPA to scrap proposed race car emissions rule The country's senate still must approve the motion pushed by the Dutch Labor Party, and it has already faced pushback from Economic Affairs Minister Henk Kamp, who alleges that it violates European Union...

Roadsters like the 2017 Mercedes-Benz SLC aren’t exactly in vogue right now. The Honda S2000 faded away a few years ago. BMW Z4 sales have fizzled to levels far below those of the more expensive 6-Series Convertible. Porsche’s pushed the Boxster upmarket. And the only bright spot on the market is the affordable Mazda MX-5 Miata and its stellar redesign this past year. Where does that leave Mercedes-Benz? While there’s an entirely new generation of this compact roadster in the works, it remains a couple of years away. And what’s here in the meantime might seem to some...

No, this isn't a story diving into the different models in the Volkswagen family. Instead, it's our friend Jason Fenske of Engineering Explained examining the differences between gasoline and diesel engines. It goes a bit deeper than spark plugs and glow plugs.
