We’ve just driven the second-generation R8 supercar, which Audi has confirmed will be hitting local showrooms next spring, as a 2017 model. The car is a major improvement over the original R8 in almost every way, though it’s not without its faults.
The Ford Motor Company [NYSE:F] has confirmed that its new Mustang Shelby GT350R will be fitted as standard with carbon fiber wheels. We’ve also learn that German suppliers are working on aluminum-carbon wheels that come close to matching the performance of pure carbon wheels but at a more attractive price.
Mercedes-Benz is likely to introduce a new generation of its CLS for the 2018 model year. We hear the car will be offered as a sedan only, with the current CLS Shooting Brake not proving popular enough to warrant a successor.
