The GL350 BlueTEC 4Matic model will win over those with an eye for torque and fuel efficiency, using diesel to generate 455 pound-feet of torque and likely very good fuel economy for its size--though official figures aren't out yet.
Speaking of size, the GL Class is definitely big, standing tall and offering seating for seven with a 2-3-2 layout.
Also on offer are the GL450 and GL550 models, using a 4.7-liter V-8 engine that generates 362 horsepower for the GL450 and 429 horsepower for the 550, with the addition of twin turbochargers.
