2012 BMW 650i Convertible

The Los Angeles Auto Show is in full swing and the smell of stale coffee and flop sweat fill the air. But that's the media, not the manufacturers--they're still pulling hard, and the latest new model to grace the datastream is the 2012 BMW 650i Convertible. The only things we don't know about the car are EPA figures, final pricing, options, and packages. What we do know is that it gets BMW's familiar twin-turbo 4.4-liter V-8 engine rated at 400 horsepower from 5,500-6,400 rpm, and 450 pound-feet of torque from 1,750-4,500 rpm.
