• The 2025 Audi Q6 E-Tron reaches dealerships by the end of 2024
  • The compact electric crossover is priced from $65,095
  • The price undercuts the related Porsche Macan EV by more than $12,000

Audi's new Q6 E-Tron sails into showrooms later this year, and the automaker on Wednesday announced pricing information.

The electric compact crossover arrives as a 2025 model in the U.S. with a starting price of $65,095, including a $1,295 destination charge. That makes it $12,200 less expensive than the electric Porsche Macan, which uses the same Volkswagen Group PPE platform.

The Q6 E-Tron comes standard with a 100-kwh battery and a single rear motor rated at 302 hp (322 hp with launch control). Adding all-wheel drive costs $2,000, and also ups power to 422 hp (456 hp with launch control) thanks to the addition of a motor up front.

Buyers seeking more performance can opt for an SQ6 E-Tron, which comes standard with all-wheel drive and is priced from $74,195, including destination. The SQ6 E-Tron is rated at 483 hp (509 hp with launch control) and can deliver 0-60 mph acceleration in 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 143 mph. It comes standard with 20-inch wheels, while the regular Q6 E-Tron models come with 19-inch wheels.

Buyers preferring range over performance will want to opt for smaller-diameter wheels. Audi offers 18-inch wheels on the regular Q6 E-Tron with rear-wheel drive as part of an available Ultra package. In this configuration, the EPA range estimate is a maximum of 321 miles. No estimate is provided for the rear-wheel-drive Q6 E-Tron with the standard 19-inch wheels.

With all-wheel drive and the standard 19-inch wheels, the EPA range estimate is 307 miles. No estimate is provided for the SQ6 E-Tron.

When it comes time for charging, rear-wheel-drive models using DC fast-chargers can charge at rates of up to 260 kw, while the all-wheel-drive models can charge at up to 270 kw. According to Audi, owners using a DC fast-charger can expect to charge their vehicles from 10-80% in around 21 minutes.

All Q6 E-Trons come with the Plug & Charge function and one year of complimentary DC fast-charging via the Electrify America network. A CCS connector and Plug & Charge will be featured, and eventually the Q6 E-Tron will adopt Tesla's NACS connector for North America, which will allow it to use some of Tesla's charging network.

Standard features in the Q6 E-Tron include a curved display comprising an 11.9-inch digital gauge cluster and a 14.5-inch touchscreen for infotainment. Available features include a 10.9-inch front passenger touchscreen, a Bang & Olufsen audio system, a Panoramic sunroof, heated rear seats and steering wheel, and adaptive dampers with air suspension.

More Q6 E-Tron models are in the pipeline. In addition to a coupe-like Q6 Sportback E-Tron body style being developed, Audi is also known to be working on a high-performance RS Q6 E-Tron.
