With the release of his latest teaser for Transformers: The Last Knight, director Michael Bay has confirmed the appearance of the fierce Decepticons unit known as the Combaticons.
Bay released an image of a Western Star 4900 SF truck on social media and revealed that it will serve as the vehicle mode for Onslaught, the leader of the Combaticons.

In the original animated series of the 1980s and early ‘90s, Onslaught and the rest of the Combaticons could combine to form the powerful but somewhat dim Bruticus. Hopefully we’ll see some of him in the new movie as well.

Onslaught will work alongside other Decepticons in the new movie including Barricade, a Decepticon that transforms into a Ford Motor Company [NYSE:F] Mustang police car, and of course Megatron, who is yet to be revealed.

Over at the Autobots there will be the usual characters of Optimus Prime and the Camaro-shifting Bumblebee. We’ll also see Drift, who in the new movie will transform into a Mercedes-AMG GT R.
Transformers: The Last Knight, the fifth movie in the franchise and possibly the last directed by Bay, is scheduled for release on June 23, 2017. Some of its human cast include Mark Wahlberg, Laura Haddock and Josh Duhamel.
