Mercedes-AMG is readying an al fresco version of its GT sports car, with prototypes already spotted testing in Europe.
According to Motoring, the car, which will be called a GT Roadster, will debut as early as the 2016 Paris auto show.
Interestingly, the Australian publication says both a base GT Roadster and a more potent version recently confirmed to be called a GT C Roadster will be at the French show.

The GT C is thought to be a new model positioned between the GT S and GT R. The GT C Roadster will arrive first and be followed by a GT C coupe towards the end of 2017.
The GT C is expected to benefit from some of the upgrades of the GT R such as uprated suspension and rear-wheel steering. Motoring suggests the GT C will also feature the wider track of the GT R.
We should have more details soon as the Paris auto show’s September 29 opening day is coming up soon. For more coverage on the show, head to our dedicated hub.
