Ford Motor Company [NYSE:F] quietly rolled out the production version of its new GT supercar at this past weekend’s 24 Hours of Le Mans race. It took part in a procession that included the original trio of GT40s that made the historic one-two-three finish at the French race 50 years ago.
A prototype for the new Mercedes-AMG E63 has been spotted and this time we have photos revealing the engine bay. The new brute is due out later this year and should offer more than 600 horsepower in its most potent form.
There was a heartbreaking climax to this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans. Just minutes from the finish the leading Toyota TS050 Hybrid came to a stop, which allowed a Porsche 919 Hybrid to sail past and take home the win. Also securing a win was Ford and its new GT.
