Judging from your feedback the new season of Top Gear is a dud. But it's not all bad as the season also features the lovable Chris Harris, though for some inane reason he barely gets any screen time.
That situation may change should viewer numbers continue to dwindle but regardless we’re about to get a whole lot more of Harris. That's because Top Gear’s website is set to become the official home of a new web series called Chris Harris Drives.
It will be much like Harris’ uber-popular Chris Harris on Cars web series and feature the British journo, racing driver and all-around cut nut driving going sideways in pretty much anything on four wheels. There will also be loads of technical info and beautiful shots, of course.
Content to be pushed far and wide
“If you want to know even more technical details about cars, hear more in-depth analysis, I hope we’ll be the perfect destination,” Harris said of the new series. “I want the films to be just as they were on Chris Harris on Cars—with added slow-motion slides.”
Harris also said one of the benefits of having the series hosted on Top Gear’s website will be the chance to push the content “as far and wide as possible,” so hopefully that means viewers in the United States will have access to it.
That’s all the info we have right now but we’ll update you as soon as we know more. In the meantime, enjoy this clip of Harris testing the Ferrari [NYSE:RACE] LaFerrari, McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder.
