Lexus will unveil a new concept at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show that’s meant to preview its new, progressive take on luxury. A single teaser shot has been released today, revealing the concept’s headlight plus a little bit of its grille.
There were rumors Lexus might bring its next-generation LS to Tokyo, but the automaker confirmed that this wasn’t the case. However, the new concept may still be a preview of the upcoming flagship sedan.

Comparing the teaser to a photo of the current LS below, one can imagine the concept’s design featuring an evolution of themes found on the current LS. This makes sense as the new LS will feature similar proportions and be similar in size to the current model, which was originally introduced for the 2007 model year.
The good news is that we don’t have too long to wait to see the reveal. This year’s Tokyo Motor Show gets underway October 28, and you can stay on top of all our coverage via our dedicated hub.
