There are now more options than ever in the small SUV segment and buyers are especially spoiled if looking for a little luxury.

One of the newer options is Land Rover’s Discovery Sport which arrived last year as a 2016 model and replaces the aging LR2.

For the 2017 model year, Land Rover is offering Discovery Sport buyers an expanded color palette, some additional tech goodies and a new Dynamic Design Pack.

The Dynamic Design Pack is available on the upper HSE and HSE LUX trim levels and adds a few visual cues such as new bumpers, black exterior accents and 20-inch wheels. The Dynamic Design Pack also includes contrast stitching in the cabin as well as custom floor mats and metal-finish pedals.

New colors across the 2017 Discovery Sport range include Silicon Silver, Farallon Black, Carpathian Gray and Aruba metallic.

In the tech department, Land Rover is offering the latest version of its touchscreen-based infotainment system. The latest version comes with a 10.2-inch screen and intuitive menus that replicate the look and feel of a smartphone app.

Land Rover is also offering more electronic driver aids. These include lane keep assist, speed sign recognition and driver drowsiness detection.
