More than just a dealership, the bold architecture of the Audi terminals, with their folded aluminum facade and curved display areas, can now be seen in almost 400 locations around the globe. The first to open was the Sydney Audi terminal, which opened its doors in 2008.
Visitors to the new Dubai Audi terminal will be able to experience up to 57 displayed new cars, more than at any other current dealership for the brand with the four rings.
The building was erected by the brand’s local dealer, Al Nabooda Automobiles, and offers almost 100,000 square feet of display and office space, spread out over three floors. Two elevators transport the Audi models between the levels, and the second floor is reserved just for the Audi exclusive customization service.
There’s also what Audi calls a “Powerwall.” This features floor-to-ceiling screens displaying the complete Audi model range including all equipment options, features and technical details in a lifelike 1:1 scale.
