Hugh Jackman
The announcement was made during the Australian premiere of Disney’s latest action movie, Real Steel, where Jackman rolled up to the event in an Audi R8 Spyder supercar.
Audi’s ambassador program was established in 1997 to communicate the human face of the luxury brand by aligning with successful personalities considered leaders in their field.
As part of his role, Jackman will take an active role in raising the profile of the Audi brand and its products during social events and at selected events linked to Audi’s business and product programs, potentially including some auto shows.
As for the movie Real Steel, which depicts a futuristic world where robots replace humans in the tough sport of boxing, it officially opens in U.S. cinemas on October 7.
