Early this morning, Ryan Dunn crashed his Porsche 911 GT3, into a tree at 110 mph after flying over a guard rail. The accident killed Dunn and an unknown passenger. New reports are indicating that alcohol may have been involved.
The new information, dug up by celebrity gossip site TMZ, says Dunn drank at least three beers and three "girly" shots at a bar before hitting the road, with one of his friends saying he was "not too drunk to drive" when he left the bar after 2:10 a.m.
Others at the bar, Barnaby's of America, in West Chester, PA, said Dunn was "wasted" and that he had "had a lot to drink."
Jackass co-star and friend, Johnny Knoxville, said via Twitter of Dunn's passing, "Today I lost my brother Ryan Dunn. My heart goes out to his family and his beloved Angie. RIP Ryan , I love you buddy."
As yet the cause of Dunn's accident is unknown. Police have released neither accident analysis nor any toxicology reports.
Dunn's latest TV endeavor, a series on G4 TV, had just aired its first episode. G4 has decided to pull the series from its programming.
