Powered by the same 101-horsepower, 1.4-liter Multiair four-cylinder engine as the standard Fiat 500, the cloth-top convertible 500 Cabrio is nonetheless a special vehicle. The unique retractable cloth roof combines the open-air fun of a convertible with the space and convenience of a hatchback design.
Because the power-operated top isn't a traditional lid-type design, it can be operated at speed--up to 50 mph for a full opening with the top tucked behind the rear-passenger head rests, and up to 60 mph it will open to the rear spoiler.
