2011 Saab Geneva preview
Saab is planning a busy week in Geneva this March, with up to four new cars, including one all-new concept, due to cross the stage. The new 9-3, 9-3 Cabriolet, a Saab Concept Car, and possibly one more--judging by the image on the preview site--are the planned unveilings.
The concept car looks rather like a fastback, not unlike the 900 Turbo, seen through the lens of modern aerodynamics and fuel economy requirements. Judging by the proportions of the concept, it's a bit bigger than the 9-3 line, or at least longer. We already know the 9-5 SportCombi will be at the show, and the rear shape of the concept car isn't as square as you'd expect from a wagon.
The fourth model under wraps looks to be a hatchback, and, again working with the relative size, it looks to be a model in the 9-3 lineup.
We'll keep you posted with the details as they pop, and we already know when to start looking: the 9-3s will be out February 23rd, while the concept will wait until the show proper, to debut March 1.
