So you want to be a trendsetter in green luxury, but don't want to ditch the Mercedes star for a Tesla or a half-hearted Lexus hybrid? Mercedes-Benz has your answer, provided you've got $850 a month to spend and you're one of the lucky 70 chosen to lease the new 2011 B-Class F-Cell.

That's right, only 70 of the cars will be available for a 36-month lease to drivers in the Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay areas, making this one of the most exclusive Mercedes-Benzes you can buy as well. Good luck beating the Governator, Arnold Schwarzenegger, out of one, as he's already expressed his desire to put one in his driveway.

In case you're not familiar, the 2011 B-Class F-Cell sports a hydrogen fuel-cell system that provides about 250 miles of range on a 9-pound tank of hydrogen. The gas is stored at 10,150 psi before being converted to electricity and water vapor to power the 136-horsepower electric motor that drives the front wheels.
