Custom coachwork and Rolls-Royce go hand in hand like supple leather and quilted stitching. To show off its bespoke capabilities, Rolls-Royce is planning a collection of commissioned cars for the 2010 Paris Auto Show.
Among the five cars on display will be a Carrara White metallic Phantom Drophead Coupe with Hotspur Red leather uphosltery and a Phantom Extended Wheelbase in Gunmental metallic with Sunrise leather interior.
The move is a step back from the more attainable Ghost, showing off Rolls-Royce's very high-end potential. Each of the cars will feature additional customization beyond the unique exterior and interior color schemes. The long-wheelbase Phantom, for example, has mother of pearl accents on the instruments, controls, and clock, plus monogrammed embroidery and custom sill plates.
The four-person picnic set revealed earlier this year will also be on display. We'll have to wait until September 30 for more photos and details, though by then High Gear Media will be on the ground in Paris, bringing you the latest straight from the show floor.
