The new GT2 car replaces the outgoing GT1 car
We're just over 15 days away from the kickoff of the 2010 American Le Mans Series opener at the 12 Hours of Sebring, and Corvette Racing is throwing down the gauntlet--to other teams and itself. This season preview video details the car, the effort the team has put in to get ready for the season and the first race, and its expectations for success.
The team couches much of its expectations for victory in belief that the Corvette ZR1--upon which the C6.R racing Corvette is based--is one of the best production cars on the road. Tight integration with the Pratt & Miller racing team and the ZR1 production team also plays into the car's hopes.
