The Nürburgring has long been a must-do pilgrimage for the hardest-core fans of motorsport, but its rapidly becoming a retail destination for fans of the world's top marques as well, with Aston Martin joining the retail fold with its new store at the 'Ring.

It's all part of the track complex's push to become a destination for more than the pursuit of quickness, offering year-round leisure and business features for the track's visitors. Aston Martin's appearance marks its first ever foray into a dedicated outlet for its merchandise.

"This great race track, that is so rich in history, is the perfect testing ground for our new cars and home to the Aston Martin Test Center," said Aston Martin CEO Ulrich Bez. "During every visit to the Nürburgring we have experienced tremendous support from fans who have shown a great affection for our brand. We hope that the opening of the Aston Martin store here at the Nürburgring will offer these supporters of our company a chance to get a little closer to the brand."

Like the Ferrari store, the Aston Martin store is located at the heart of the Grand Ring Boulevard and covers 2,582 square feet of space. Items on sale include the entire Aston Martin Collection, including fashion items, accessories, luggage, luxury gifts and the Aston Martin 007 Range. The store will also offer team wear and other items of both the Aston Martin Racing collection and its main sponsor Hackett, London and Aston Martin model cars made by Minichamps, Germany.
