New features for all Range Rover models include upgraded leather trim for the steering wheel and instrument panel top surface. Additionally, new and improved door seals reduce cabin noise making the off-roaders even quieter than before. Other additions include several new exterior paint colors.
The aforementioned Autobiography Package includes leather trim for the console side surfaces, door casings, and the entire instrument panel. Semi-aniline leather seats are also included, and wood trim accents are dispersed throughout the interior. The new package also includes four-zone automatic climate control and a rear-seat entertainment system.
All Range Rover Sport models also get refreshed exterior trim, with new wheel designs and improvements to the interior craftsmanship to boost quality levels. Other changes include clear lenses for the taillamps and side repeater lamps. A 'Noble' finish for metal vent bezels, inside door pulls, and the upper and lower console trim also enhance the interior ambiance. Additionally, a body-color lower tailgate will come as standard, rather than the usual matte-black affair.
Refinements for the 2009 Land Rover LR3 include new wheel designs, 19in alloy wheels as standard and body colored wheel arches and bumper covers. There are also new finishes for the door and tailgate handles, and clear lenses can now be found on the side repeater lamps similar to the Range Rover Sport. New-for-2009 is the HST package, which consists of a sporty body kit featuring a more aggressive mesh grille design, painted front and rear bumpers, side sill enhancements and dual HST exhaust tips.
All LR2s will also benefit from 2009 upgrades, including new wheels, new carpeting for the interior, clear side repeater lenses and revised instrument panel finishes.
