A proper Jetta for proper drivers, the GLI is the version of VW’s compact sedan we wouldn’t mind hopping in. It shares a number of internals with the GTI hot hatch and with the arrival of the 2016 model the two cars now look similar too.
Another VW has made today’s headlines: the next-generation Tiguan. The compact SUV has been spotted in prototype form for the first time. It’s due to be revealed in the next six to 12 months but we’re not expecting it in local showrooms until sometime in 2017, as a 2018 model.
Patent drawings depicting what’s likely to be a new mid-engine sports car to fill the void left by the Honda S2000 have emerged. We hear that the car will be a hybrid, making it a little brother to the new NSX supercar.
